Closing Day | You’re Almost Home

 If you’ve made it this far, you’re just one step away from the finish line. It’s an exciting moment, but there are still a few final tasks to take care of before we officially hand over the keys.

Final Walk-Through
This is your chance to walk through the home one last time—typically the day before or the morning of closing. It’s a quick visit to confirm everything is in the same condition as when you last saw it. We’ll make sure nothing unexpected was left behind, that agreed-upon items are still there, and that everything is in good working order.

Utilities and Home Services
To make your move-in easier, I’ll provide a list of local utility providers and service contacts so you can get everything set up smoothly once closing is complete.

If Anything Comes Up, I’m Here
Every now and then, a small issue pops up at the last minute. Whether it’s a repair concern or a missing document, there’s no need to panic. I’ve seen it all, and I’ll be right here to help make sure things get resolved quickly and calmly.

What Happens at Closing
During closing, you’ll sign the final settlement statement, which outlines all financial aspects of the transaction. If you're financing the home, you’ll also sign your lender’s documents. If you can't attend in person, we can often arrange remote signing with enough notice.

Bringing Funds and Getting the Keys
If you’re bringing funds to closing, they can be wired to the escrow account ahead of time or brought as a certified check. Once everything is signed and complete, the seller will hand over the keys, remotes, and any other essentials—and just like that, it’s officially yours.
